If the Participant is younger than 18 years old\, the Participant must be able to show consent by a guardian or parent and be accompanied by such guardian or parent\, if the Participant receives a prize. You can only participate in the WhatsApp Competition if you have a mobile phone device with WhatsApp service.\n\n\nWho cannot enter the Competition?\nThe Competition may not be entered into by any director\, member\, partner\, employee\, agent\, consultant\, tenant of the Landlord at the Mall\, the marketing service providers and/or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities\, including their spouses\, life partners\, business partners or immediate family members.\n\n\nCompetition Period:\nThe Competition runs from [1 February 2024] until [29 February 2024] (“Competition Period”).\nAny entries received outside of the Competition Period will not be taken into consideration.\n\n\nHow to enter?\nTo enter the Competition\, a Participant will be required to: \n  \ni.       Spend R250.00 at any shop in Heiderand Mall \nii.      WhatsApp their Name and Surname and unique Till Slip Number to the WhatsApp number                      +27 60 413 4873 \niii.     Shoppers must retain the shop receipt as proof. Date on till slip must fall within promo dates                   (1 February 2024 – 29 February 2024). \nUpon compliance with i) and ii) and iii) above\, as the case may be\, a Participant will automatically be deemed to have entered the Competition. \n \n\n\nLimitation on entries\nA Participant may enter as many times as he/she wishes during the Competition Period\, but can only enter each till slip once and can only win once.\n\n\nHow will the Winner/s be selected?\nOnce the Competition Period has expired\, the Landlord will pick 1 (one) winner (“Winner”) through a random draw. The random draw will be overseen by an independent auditor.\n\n\nWinner announced on:\nWinner to be announced 5 March 2024.\n\n\nThe prizes\nThe winner will win a voucher for a Hot Air Balloon experience for two (excluding travel)\, subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the Service Provider (NOVA Hot Air Balloons). The Landlord cannot guarantee the performance of the Service Provider (NOVA Hot Air Balloons) and will not be liable for any act or default by the Service Provider (NOVA Hot air balloons). \nThe prize is not transferable and will not be changed or deferred for any reason whatsoever.\n\n\nHow will the Winner/s be informed? \n  \n  \n  \n \nThe Landlord will use all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner during Trading Hours either telephonically\, via WhatsApp or on the contact number provided by the Winner in respect of the database of the Mall. \nIf the Landlord is unable to contact or reach the Winner\, the entry by that person will be disqualified and a further random draw will be conducted by the Landlord to determine another Winner. That Winner will also be contacted by the Landlord via WhatsApp or telephonically\, as soon as reasonably practicable.\n\n\nUpliftment of prizes\nThe winner must collect their prizes in person\, and if younger than 18 years old\, must be accompanied by a parent / guardian who should be willing and able to provide the necessary permissions and consent. \n\nPrizes are to be collected from the centre manager’s offices located at the Mall offices\, Cnr Louis Fourie and Melkhout Street\, Heiderand\, Mossel Bay\, during Working Hours.\nWinners will need to present a valid South African identity document.\nThe winner will need to present the relevant shop receipt with which they entered via WhatsApp.\n\n\n\n\nDeadline for claiming prizes\nIf the Winner does not collect the Prize by 17h00 on/or before [30 June 2024]\, the Competition shall end without the Landlord awarding the Prize.\n\n\nData usage and Privacy policy\nParticipants are fully aware that in order for the Landlord to offer the Competition\, the Landlord may collect and use personal information of the Participants. The personal information may include but is in no way limited to a Participant’s: \n\nFirst name and surname;\nPhysical address;\nEmail address;\nMobile number; and/or\nImages/ photographs.\n\nPersonal information which a Participant provides to the Landlord when entering the Competition\, may\, subject to prevailing law\, be used for future marketing activity by the Landlord\, unless the Participant duly notifies the Landlord that he/she wishes to opt out of receiving such marketing communications. No Participant will have any claim against the Landlord for such a termination.\nThe Landlord shall not be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries\, including but not limited to entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware\, software\, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating in the Competition.\nParticipation in the Competition constitutes automatic acceptance of the T’s and C’s contained herein and the Participant agrees to abide by the T’s and C’s.\nWinners may not win any Mall Competition more than once in a 30-day period. Properties (PTY) Limited hereinafter the (“PROMOTER”).\nBy entering into the Survey Competition\, entrants agree to the Terms and Conditions set out below. The PROMOTER reserves the right to disqualify a participant who does not comply with any of the Terms and Conditions of the Competition.\nThe Competition is open to everyone except the following people:\na) a director\, member\, partner\, employee or agent of or consultant to the PROMOTER or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the PROMOTER as well as a supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition; or\nb) a spouse\, life partner\, parent\, child\, brother\, sister\, business partner or associate of a person contemplated in paragraph (a). or\nc) Heiderand Mall tenants\, staff\, sponsors and/or their direct family members.\nEntrants must be a South African citizen and 18 years or older or if under the age of 18\, duly assisted by a parent or legal guardian at all times.\nThe Competition commences on 1 June 2022 and closes on 31 July 2022 at 10:00 a.m. The winner will be randomly selected and announced on the Heiderand Mall Facebook Page on 31 July at 15 p.m.\nSteps to enter the competition: Participants need to visit the Heiderand Mall Facebook Page\, follow the link to the Heiderand Mall website and complete the short survey pop up on the landing page.\nEntrants may only enter once.\nThe prize is not transferable. No substitution or assignment of prize is permitted\, but the organizers of the Competition reserve the right in their absolute discretion to substitute the prize with one of comparable value for any reason.\nThe judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.\nWinners may be requested to appear on television or radio\, in print publications\, or online sites to endorse\, promote or advertise the goods or services of the PROMOTER. However\, participants/winners of the Competition shall at all times be entitled to decline the aforesaid request.\nBy entering this Competition you consent to the PROMOTER to collect\, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.\nAll risk and liability pertaining to any prize shall pass to the winner on signing over and receipt thereof.
